Hoffmann

In 1999, The Toy Company was established in Hong Kong. Initially focused on purchasing and logistics, it later grew into a major international player in the toy market with an assortment of more than 1,000 items.
On the Russian market, the Hoffmann brand is represented by the company Veld Co. (Moscow). Veld Co. lists Hoffmann among its own trademarks and is responsible for the distribution and marketing of these toys in Russia.
Under the Hoffmann brand, metal (die-cast) models are produced in scales ranging from 1:24 to 1:64. The core of the range consists of pull-back (inertia) cars featuring a metal body, opening doors, hood and trunk, rubber wheels, and an inertia mechanism. There are also models with lights and sound — when the doors are opened, the headlights light up and a signal sounds, while pressing the hood produces the sound of an engine starting (powered by LR44 batteries).
What really lets the appearance down are the ugly wheels made of white translucent plastic, even though they have rubber tires. The exact same series is sold in blister packs under the Kiddie Drive brand. However, those ones have realistic wheels with silver hubcaps.
The lineup includes passenger cars, emergency and special vehicles (police, fire trucks, etc.), models of Russian automotive brands, buses, metro cars, and other vehicles. The 1:64 scale mainly features affordable pull-back models that are popular as children’s toys.
The cars are sold in high-quality cardboard boxes with a window that shows the car itself. All cars have Pull back and go mechanism.
Hoffmann “Russian Series” was released in May 2024.
