The prototypes traveled 45,000 kilometers across the rough terrain, steppes, and sands of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, as well as the Pamir passes. They demonstrated excellent performance. Compared to the GAZ-69, the new model offers improved cross-country capability and improved driver and passenger comfort.
